TRIP 6 :

HIKE AND RAFT TOUR IN THE GATES OF THE ARCTIC

TRIP INFORMATION:

On this tour you have two choices. You can be flown in from Bettles to the headwaters of the Tinayguk River, or to the headwaters of the Koyukuk River to the base of Mt. Boreal by bush plane Super Cub.

Both of these areas are beautiful and can be explored unguided using topo maps.

After a few days of hiking with a partner, you can raft for five days from either the headwaters of the Tinayguk River Valley, or from the headwaters of the Koyukuk River Valley back to Bettles. Cost is the same for either trip.

The choice is yours.

Alaska Fish & Trails Unlimited will provide rafts, paddles and life vests flown into your trip's starting point.

PRICE:

$1,600.00   per person (unguided)

3,000.00 per person (guided)

NOTES:

• Start Date : Seasonal
• Client must provide own food and personal camping gear and Alaska fishing licenses.
• Upon booking a trip with Alaska Fish and Trails we'll make your reservations from Fairbanks to Bettles or Anaktuvuk pass Alaska for your starting point.
• You are monetarily responsible for this flight.
• From here you will take a bush flight, with Alaska Fish and Trails to your designated trip location.
• Bush flight from Bettles to your starting point  by Alaska Fish and Trails Unlimited is free.
